About the position

The Liquor Store Assistant Manager 1 plays a vital role in supporting the operations of the Fine Wine & Good Spirits store by overseeing sales activities and ensuring exceptional customer service. This position involves supervising store employees, managing daily operations, and assisting the General Manager in various store functions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage activities in the Fine Wine & Good Spirits store.
• Participate in sales activities including receiving shipments and stocking products.
• Provide excellent customer service in a clean and safe store environment.
• Assign and inspect the work of Liquor Store employees.
• Instruct employees in the proper application of policies and procedures.
• Assist the General Manager with store operations, including sales and cash accounting.

Requirements

• One year as a Liquor Store Clerk 2; or
• Two years as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or an Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk; or
• One year of lead retail sales work.
• Must meet PA residency requirement.
• Must pass a background investigation.
