The Liquor Store Assistant Manager 1 position with the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (LCB) is designed for motivated individuals looking to advance their retail management careers. This role involves supervising and directing activities in a state-owned liquor store, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing store operations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage activities in the liquor store.
• Assist with store management and operations.
• Provide excellent customer service in a clean and safe environment.
• Update electronic inventory systems and coordinate licensee orders.
• Ensure stock is unloaded, rotated, and organized appropriately.
• Assign and inspect the work of Liquor Store employees.
• Instruct employees in the proper application of policies and procedures.
• Assist General Managers with overall store operations.

Requirements

• One year as a Liquor Store Clerk 2; or
• Two years as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or an Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk; or
• One year of lead retail sales work.
• Must meet PA residency requirements.
• Must pass a background investigation.
