About the position
The Liquid Load Out Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient transfer of liquid eggs from silos to tankers at the distribution plant. This role involves operating automated equipment, maintaining cleanliness in the load out area, and ensuring accurate documentation of egg types and quantities.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate transferring equipment for liquid egg from an egg silo to a liquid egg tanker.
- Ensure proper connections, seals, and handling of automation equipment to avoid contamination.
- Maintain cleanliness in the load out bay and breaker room during the shift.
- Follow the daily plan and schedule, understanding egg type and quantity goals for specific orders.
- Safely move liquid egg tankers in and out of the load out bay using a yard jockey or semi-truck.
- Accurately record quantities, types of egg quality, and complete necessary paperwork.
- Coordinate with delivery drivers to ensure correct tanker connections and paperwork.
Requirements
- Ability to use basic hand tools.
- Ability to follow specific procedures consistently.
- Ability to stand for entire shift (8+ hours).
- Ability to stoop, twist, reach, and bend repetitively.
- Experience working with computers.
- Experience operating semi or trailer jockey or willingness to learn.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly and 60 lbs on occasion.
