About the position
As a Lighting Retrofit Technician, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation of lighting products in customer facilities. This role requires a strong emphasis on professional customer service and a comprehensive understanding of lighting retrofit strategies.
Responsibilities
- Install lighting fixtures, lamps, ballasts, controls, or other items associated with lighting systems.
- Work in a safe manner to avoid damaging or disturbing customer facilities.
- Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures.
- Perform physically demanding tasks while utilizing basic and specialized tools and equipment throughout the service job process.
- Understand and conform to government/local regulations and ordinances, as well as required safety guidelines.
- Comply with safety policies.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of Lighting Retrofit experience.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to travel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive customer service skills.
