The Lift Operator (Order Picker - Stand Up) position at Ashley HomeStore involves ensuring customer satisfaction by managing the condition of merchandise pulled and shipped from the warehouse. Responsibilities
- Load, unload, move, locate, relocate and/or stack merchandise using a pick or other power equipment.
- Ensure efficient use of racks by moving products to free up space and protect them from damage.
- Assist in physical inventories as required by the supervisor.
- Complete all paperwork concerning the pulling of merchandise correctly and on time according to procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid Forklift Certification preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to communicate in English, both in speech and writing.
- Strong verbal and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous Cherry Picking/Lift Operator experience preferred.
- Ability to safely move up to 50 lbs or more with assistance.
