Lifeguard (Part-Time)

About the position

Under supervision of the Center Director/Program Coordinator or Designee, to participate in the responsibility of performing lifeguarding, water rescue and safety procedures: To perform a variety of tasks in the prevention of injuries at the pool facilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintains Lifeguard & CPR/First Aid certifications.
• Administer First Aid and/or CPR as needed; performs water rescue functions.
• Observe patrons and enforce the safety rules and regulations of the pool.
• Customer Service/Handles Objections/Positive Public Perception.
• Participates in Lifeguard Training sessions.
• Dependability/Attentiveness/Excellent Communication skills.

Requirements

• Education: Lifeguard Training.
• Experience: No experience required.
• Lifeguard certification.
• Water rescue safety methods.
• Pool Safety operating regulations.
