Under general supervision assist in the maintaining, repair, and service for the District's Life/Safety equipment related to school facilities. Oversee subcontractors to meet specifications and schedules related to Life/Safety equipment maintenance and installation throughout the District. Life/Safety equipment may include but not limited to Fire Alarms, Fire Sprinklers, Fire Backflow, Kitchen Hoods, Fire Extinguishers, 12/24-volt electronics such as; elevators, chair lifts, and other equipment related to low voltage technology. Maintain and provide for the safe condition and operation of all Life/Safety systems in District facilities. Develop and manage programs primarily associated with environmental compliance, which influences health and safety in all district facilities. Maintain appropriate records keeping requirements as required by federal, state and local agencies.
