About The Position
Life Enrichment Coordinator Shift: AM Location: Ovation Communities — Jewish Home & Care Center Ovation Communities is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator who plays a vital role in enriching the lives of residents by planning, organizing, and implementing engaging recreational, social, educational, and wellness-based programs. This individual fosters a vibrant and inclusive environment that promotes physical, mental, and emotional well-being for all residents.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least one (1) year experience working in life enrichment and/or planning activities.
- Must have a valid WI drivers license.
- This position will need to drive a company vehicle at times.
- Read, write and comprehend the English language.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced degree in Music, Art or other therapy preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of daily, weekly, and monthly activity programs based on the interests and needs of residents.
- Lead group and one-on-one activities, including games, arts and crafts, music, exercise, educational sessions, and outings.
- Encourage resident participation and provide support to ensure inclusivity for individuals with varying levels of ability.
- Support special events and holiday celebrations, including setup, takedown, and coordination with other departments.
- Assist with maintaining the monthly activity calendar and distributing it to residents and staff.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and participation in programs.
