Life Enrichment Assistant (Saturday and Sunday)
About The Position
The Life Enrichment Assistant @ Abbotswood at Irving Park provides exemplary service to residents through presenting classes and instruction, coordinating events, and assisting with transportation as needed. This is a part-time role, working Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 6 pm, with a pay rate of $17.50/hr. The role involves promoting and monitoring resident attendance and participation in all Wellness programs, teaching and facilitating programs, implementing a variety of group and individual Wellness programs, working with volunteers and community groups, assisting in setting up Wellness and community events, and assisting with scheduling and driving vehicles as required.
Requirements
- Bring a smile to work every day
- Be a great team player
- High school graduate
- One to two years of experience in wellness programs (preferably with seniors)
- Valid driver’s license and proof of good driving record
- First Aid Certification
Nice To Haves
- Experience leading exercise classes and assisting with exercise equipment preferred
Responsibilities
