About the position

The Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) at Catholic Charities Agency Diocese of Springfield plays a crucial role in providing mental health services and support to clients and families in need. This position is part of the senior leadership team and involves direct supervision of case management staff, ensuring compliance with agency policies, and delivering culturally and linguistically appropriate case management services. The LICSW will engage in crisis intervention, develop self-sufficiency plans, and collaborate with various service providers to meet client needs effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide culturally-appropriate, linguistically-appropriate, trauma-informed case management services to clients and families.
• Develop self-sufficiency plans and timelines in partnership with each client.
• Provide individualized support through direct services, referrals, and advocacy.
• Assess and monitor client progress to support their attainment of established goals.
• Detail each client interaction accurately, completely, and confidentially.
• Input client information in database(s) and assist with tracking and reporting as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with coworkers and partner organizations.
• Build and maintain relationships with area service providers for the benefit of clients.

Requirements

• Must hold a master's degree (MA LICSW) in social work.
• Must have clinical practicum or field experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly desired.
• One year of related experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively interpret between English and Spanish.
• Basic computer and MS Office skills.
• Valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance.
