About the position

The Licensing Coordinator at NuScale Power, LLC is responsible for supporting the life cycle of licensing documentation, which includes development, review, and submission to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). This role involves technical research on regulatory requirements, managing document production infrastructure, and ensuring adherence to document controls. The coordinator will also assist in planning and executing interactions with external entities and support NRC meeting preparations.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the development and management of licensing document production infrastructure.
  • Develops and maintains process workflows for licensing documentation.
  • Responsible for manuscript management including change control and working file management.
  • Manages SharePoint site and information storage, ensuring adherence to document controls.
  • Provides document planning and organizational skills for preparing NRC submittals.
  • Manages incoming and outgoing correspondences and submissions to the NRC.
  • Obtains interpretations of regulatory laws and guidelines to guide licensing documentation development.
  • Supports processes related to NRC meeting preparation and external entity visits.

Requirements

  • A minimum of an Associate's degree or 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in developing technical/regulatory/legal documents.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite.
  • Experience working with regulatory requirements and understanding adherence preferred.
  • Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.

  • Experience with database systems related to regulatory documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for developing networks within the organization.
