Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - SNF (Per Diem)
About The Position
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - SNF position works collaboratively with other staff members and medical staff to serve the patients of the Skilled Nursing Department. This role involves providing comprehensive, quality, age-specific, and culturally sensitive care to patients, ensuring the readiness of the Nursing Department. The LVN will communicate clearly and concisely, demonstrate professionalism, and take responsibility for personal and professional growth. They will also support and participate in hospital-wide quality initiatives and adhere to regulatory and compliance standards.
Requirements
- Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse license REQUIRED
- BLS certification Required
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal, written and listening skills.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
- Computer literacy and ability to use the Electronic Health Record (EHR) or willingness to learn the EHR system
Nice To Haves
- One-year experience Preferred
- IV Certification Preferred
