About the position

The licensed Clinician at Kids for the Future, Inc. will play a crucial role in providing mental health services to clients. This position involves completing comprehensive psychosocial histories for all clients and ensuring that all intake paperwork and consents are properly filled out. The Clinician will be responsible for developing individualized counseling treatment plans tailored to each client's needs. In addition to individual therapy, the Clinician will conduct group and family psychotherapy sessions, as well as provide crisis intervention and stabilization services when necessary. This role requires a strong commitment to client care and the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals in the agency. The Clinician will regularly review and update each client's treatment plan to ensure it remains relevant and effective. For every service delivered, the Clinician will provide detailed progress notes that reflect the treatment plan goals and objectives. This documentation is essential for tracking client progress and ensuring continuity of care. The Clinician will also assist with the completion of other documentation related to psychological evaluations and psychotherapy, ensuring that all records are accurate and up-to-date. In addition to direct client care, the Clinician will refer clients for additional clinical services as needed, representing the program to parents, visitors, school systems, and the public. Participation in agency-wide training programs and staffing is also expected, as is a commitment to displaying concern for the rights of clients and families served by the clinic. Confidentiality is paramount, and the Clinician will ensure that all client and employee information is handled according to clinic policy. The Clinician will also supervise Qualified Behavioral Health Providers and implement and coordinate transitions and discharges for clients as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Complete psychosocial history for all clients and ensure completion of all intake paperwork and consents.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (Required).
  • Arkansas Counseling or Social Work License (Required).
