About The Position

Licensed Practical Nurse at the Main Campus, 2nd Floor. This position is part of the 1199 UNION and operates on a Monday-Friday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm, with alternating Saturdays. The role involves assisting physicians, monitoring patients, administering medications, maintaining patient rooms, and assisting with administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

Assisting the physician in treatments and procedures
Monitoring of patient's vital signs, patient intake and output, and recording patient history
Reports data relating to patient's health status to the appropriate clinical staff
Identifies patient goals, communicates, and collaborates with clinical team to support patient care plan
Administration of medication, injections, and functions in the scope of the license
Cleaning of equipment in patient care areas
Maintain patient care rooms to ensure they are kept clean, and supplies are well stocked.
Maintain records of patient activities and observations
Submit records to the appropriate clinical staff regarding patient's condition
Assist with scheduling patients, authorizations and referrals to support office staff as needed
Cross-cover multiple practices as needed
Rooming patients
Overseeing patient flow
