About the position

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at River Ridge Neurorehabilitation Center, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team. Your primary focus will be on achieving positive clinical outcomes and ensuring patient and family satisfaction through effective nursing practices. You will evaluate patients, administer medications, and supervise unlicensed staff, all while contributing to the overall care planning process.

Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient and effective nursing care to achieve positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.
• Evaluate patients to collect data, observe conditions, and report changes in condition.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
• Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.

Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure as a practical nurse.
• Experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing is preferred.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification as required.
