About The Position

BAYADA is seeking highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for STAT opportunities to join their highest skilled nursing team. As a STAT LPN, you will help clients transition home from the hospital and fill last-minute openings, providing the initial 4-6 weeks of skilled nursing care. You will work closely with Clinical Managers to ensure client needs are met according to their care plan, delivering personalized one-on-one nursing attention at home. Clients range from infants to the elderly with varying acuity levels, including complex needs like trach and vent care. Responsibilities include performing assessments, monitoring clients' conditions, documenting observations, interventions, and evaluations, and executing doctors' orders.

Requirements

• Active New Jersey LPN license in good standing
• CPR Certified
• Willingness to work across market service area (Bergen, Passaic, & Hudson County)
• Willingness to work with all ages (Infant through Geriatric)
• Willingness to work in all private duty settings (In-Home & In-School)
• One year of skilled nursing experience
• Hands-on infant, pediatric, and adult tracheostomy and ventilator experience
• Commitment to a minimum of two twelve-hour shifts per week
• Commitment to work one weekend per month

Responsibilities

• Provide initial 4-6 weeks of skilled nursing care for clients transitioning home from the hospital.
• Deliver personalized one-on-one nursing attention at home.

• Perform assessments, monitor clients’ conditions, and document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders.
• Travel to client's home and stay for the full shift.
