Responsibilities

• Administer medications in an accurate and timely manner to residents in accordance with physician's orders.
• Provide emergency care to residents when necessary.
• Requisition adequate medications and supplies to administer medications in a timely manner.
• Supervise other employees and caring for residents.
• Monitor and document effectiveness of treatment and medication.
• Maintain a courteous, and professional appearance at all times.
• Follow facility policy and procedures as outlined in Employee Handbook.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Current LPN License/CPR Certification
• Knowledge of computer documentation and writing documentation skills
• Professional, friendly, dependable and punctual individuals with a current LPN license.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in administering medication and treatments as ordered by a physician or qualified practitioner.
• Experience supervising CNA in caring for residents.
• Ability to complete and document comprehensive assessments of residents' needs as related to medication administration.
