About the position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position in Women's Health at Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital involves assisting practitioners in various procedures, managing telephone prescription orders and refills, maintaining patient records, and relaying test results. The role requires providing safe and quality nursing care under the direction of SHS practitioners and the Clinic Supervisor, adhering to the scope of practice. The Women's Health teams offer a comprehensive range of OB/GYN care, including well-woman exams, contraception, obstetric care, infertility treatment, menopause management, and gynecologic surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Assist practitioners in performance of procedures.
• Manage telephone prescription orders and refills.
• Maintain patient records and relay test results.
• Provide safe and quality nursing care under supervision.

Requirements

• Current unencumbered Oregon Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure.
• Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
• Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Lab/EKG experience preferred.
