About the position

The Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) position at Buffalo Psychiatric Center involves providing professional social work services to individuals with mental illness. Responsibilities

  • Provide crisis intervention and service linkages to individuals with mental illness.
  • Develop treatment plans in collaboration with individuals and the treatment team.
  • Monitor and evaluate progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary.
  • Determine discharge needs and identify appropriate community resources.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with community providers to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements

  • Must be licensed and currently registered by New York State as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
  • Ability to provide culturally competent and evidence-based treatment.
  • Experience in crisis intervention and treatment planning.
