Responsibilities

• Perform various types of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client concerns.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to communicate effectively with clients and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide education to clients on the benefits of massage therapy and self-care practices for pain management.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients.
• Uphold high standards of customer service, ensuring that each client feels valued and cared for during their visit.
• Collaborate with other health professionals in a med spa setting to enhance overall patient care.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with a focus on pain management and occupational health is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy is essential.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
• Massage Therapy License (Required).

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in a med spa or similar environment is a plus.
