About The Position

Our team at W Dental has been serving Vancouver and the surrounding areas for around 10 years. Our team of dentists are highly regarded in their field and provide unparalleled dental care in a safe and soothing environment. Our beautiful practice is in the historic Gastown area in Downtown Vancouver. We are seeking a Licensed Dental Assistant to join our team, and play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care by supporting the dentist during procedures, maintaining efficient clinical workflows, and ensuring a smooth and organized daily operation. Requirements

Registered and/or Licensed as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Nice To Haves

Previous dental assisting experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment
Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow
Take dental X-rays and digital images as required
Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards
Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks
Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care
Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines
Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour
