About the position

We are a well-established and respected commercial plumbing company that has been in business since 1983, with locations in Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality plumbing services for commercial new construction projects, including restaurant, retail shell, and tenant finish-out builds. We are currently seeking a licensed & experienced Commercial Journeyman Plumber to join our growing team. As a Commercial Plumber you’ll work closely with our project managers, subcontractors, and field team to ensure plumbing systems are installed correctly, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems on commercial new construction projects, including restaurants, retail shell, and tenant finish-outs.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate plumbing installations.
  • Troubleshoot plumbing issues, identify problems, and provide effective solutions.
  • Handle physical workloads in varying environmental conditions and temperatures.
  • Complete all phases of plumbing work in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure project success.
  • Adhere to safety standards and regulations at all times.
  • Work 40+ hours per week with some weekends as needed to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of commercial plumbing experience, specifically in restaurant, retail shell, and tenant finish-out projects.
  • Must possess a valid State of Texas Plumbing License (Journeyman or Master).
  • Valid Texas Driver License (Class C).
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Ability to handle a physical workload and endure seasonal temperatures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must own hand tools and equipment required for the job (Heavy tools/equipment will be provided).
  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
