Librarian - Digital Archivist (Remote, United States)

About the position

The Librarian - Digital Archivist at ETR is responsible for developing and implementing strategies for managing the ETR Body of Knowledge (ETRBOK). This role involves overseeing the entire knowledge management process, ensuring that digital archives are maintained and accessible to all staff in a secure and equitable manner. The position requires collaboration with various departments to align knowledge management efforts with ETR's strategic goals, while also providing a user-friendly experience for diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for managing the ETR Body of Knowledge (ETRBOK).
• Lead the knowledge management process from strategic planning to implementation.
• Guide the development of efficient workflows and select appropriate tools and technologies.
• Maintain high-quality digital archives and ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with teams across Administration, Products, and Services departments.
• Serve as a primary liaison to internal stakeholders regarding knowledge management efforts.

Requirements

• Advanced Degree in Library Science or a relevant academic discipline.
• Minimum of five years' experience processing and cataloging physical and digital collections.
• Experience applying library and archival descriptive and metadata standards.
• Knowledge of contemporary archival practices and emerging technologies.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Applications.
• Excellent writing, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated experience in budget development and monitoring.
