The Leveraging Liaison / Client Care Associate at Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists plays a crucial role in supporting the emergency and specialty medical team by ensuring high-quality service for clients, patients, and referring veterinarians. This position focuses on patient care, diagnosis, and treatment while facilitating communication between clients and the veterinary team. The Client Care Associate is responsible for creating a positive first and last impression for clients, impacting their overall experience with the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Promote patient flow to limit client wait times.
• Communicate directly with referring doctors and hospitals.
• Communicate directly with pet owners.
• Discuss estimates and finances with clients.
• Discharge patients according to the doctor's instructions.
• Process payments.
• Check people in and out, direct phone calls, and perform data entry.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is required.
• 2+ years experience in a veterinary hospital as a technician, liaison, or CSR.
• Sufficient computer experience and the ability to learn various veterinary software programs.
• Basic math skills to determine deposits and process payments.
• Ability to balance and prioritize multiple tasks appropriately.
• Excellent clear communication skills.
• Must be professional, pleasant, and engaged.
• Must be attentive and demonstrate a high level of respect to referring veterinarians, clients, and co-workers.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of DVMax and SmartFlow.
• Experience and knowledge of Care Credit.
