About the position
As an NDT Level II Technician at Pinnacle Asset Integrity Services, you will be responsible for performing safe inspection Nondestructive Tests (NDT), executing techniques for proper examination, and interpreting inspection results. This role requires technical competence and knowledge of current inspection codes, with a focus on mechanical integrity programs in refineries. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to PinnacleART's Non-Destructive Testing standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform safe inspection Nondestructive Tests (NDT) including UTT, MT, and PT testing.
- Understand and follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with requirements.
- Plan and execute NDE work, including cutting insulation and installing inspection ports.
- Fill out and organize paperwork such as JSA, UT packages, and permits.
- Train and develop Level I technicians.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical integrity programs of refineries.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Possess a valid driver license and TWIC card.
- Self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pass Level II UT MT PT testing with PinnacleART.
Nice-to-haves
- Additional certifications such as ASNT ISQ for Ultrasonic Thickness Testing.
- API QUTE-TM - Qualification of Ultrasonic Testing Examiners (Thickness Measurement).
- A degree in a relevant field.
