About the position

The Level 1 IT Technician at Compucam Inc is responsible for providing technical support and assisting with the organization of shop operations. This role focuses on delivering remote IT support, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining efficient backend processes to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote access tools.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Assist with setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of IT systems.
• Document technical issues, solutions, and client interactions in the ticketing system.
• Oversee inventory management systems to track and maintain supplies and equipment.
• Organize and manage backend processes to ensure operational efficiency.
• Coordinate the procurement of IT tools and equipment to meet business needs.
• Maintain internal IT systems, ensuring they are running optimally.
• Monitor and report system performance and ticket trends.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in IT support or a related field.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with hardware, software, and networks.
• Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of shop management or inventory systems is a plus.
