About the position

As a Level 1 Provider/Behavior Technician at Ability Avenues, you will play a crucial role in delivering personalized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related conditions. Working closely with a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA), you will implement therapy programs, collaborate with families, and help children achieve their developmental goals through customized interventions. This position offers both part-time and full-time opportunities, emphasizing flexibility and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA therapy programs as directed by the BCBA.
• Provide 1:1 therapy in home and community-based settings.
• Provide observation and direction to other providers.
• Collect and record data on child progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
• Collaborate with families to ensure consistency and reinforce therapy outcomes.
• Participate in team meetings and receive ongoing training to maintain high-quality service delivery.
• Maintain the integrity of health service records based on state regulations.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or hold a master's degree in behavioral health, child development, or related fields (mental health, special education, social work, psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy).
• Hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in behavioral health, child development, or related fields AND have 6,000 hours of clinical experience delivering Applied Behavior Analysis services.

• Ability to commute to Minneapolis, MN 55422 (preferred).
