About the position

The School of Natural Sciences at Indiana University Southeast invites applicants for a Lecturer of Computer Science position beginning August 1, 2025. The candidate must have an M. S. degree in Computer Science or closely related field by August 2025. Preference will be given to those candidates with evidence of successful teaching of undergraduate Computer Science. Preferred fields of interest include cloud computing, databases, cybersecurity, and data science. Responsibilities include teaching a range of undergraduate Computer Science/Informatics/Cybersecurity/Data Science courses, and service to the university and community. The teaching load will be 12 credit hours per semester. IU Southeast is a campus of Indiana University offering both in-person and online courses and participating in collaborative online courses within several related degree programs. Review of candidates will begin on January 15, 2025, and continue until the position is filled.
