About the position

The Lecturer in Communication Sciences and Disorders will teach the online course CSD 202 Hearing Science during the eight-week summer session. This role involves developing course content, administering evaluations, and providing support to undergraduate students in understanding the physical acoustics of sound and the anatomy of the auditory system.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates classroom, online, and/or laboratory instruction for CSD 202 Hearing Science.
  • Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to the course.
  • Serves as an instructor of record and assesses student performance.
  • Acts as the initial point of contact for students regarding course content and expectations.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders is required.
  • Prior teaching experience at the College/University level is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • PhD or other terminal degree is preferred.
