Roving Leasing Consultant in Tri Cities, WA
About The Position
This is a full-time, non-exempt position supporting Affinity managed apartment communities in Tri Cities, Washington. The role involves advertising and promoting properties, managing leads using industry-specific software, providing tours to prospective and current residents, and completing the full lease process. The position also requires ensuring compliance with renter's insurance, maintaining high resident occupancy, and facilitating timely rent collection. A key aspect of the role is engaging with tenants professionally and courteously, escalating issues to the Property Manager, and facilitating resident events. The schedule is Monday - Friday from 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, with location assignments provided in advance.
Requirements
- Authorization to work in the United States
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of customer service and sales experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications including, Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Demonstrates teamwork, good hygiene, ethical behavior and integrity, excellent customer service and communication skills, ability to multi-task, resolve conflicts, and ambition for continuous professional development
Responsibilities
- Advertise and promote the property
- Utilize industry specific software for lead management
- Provide tours to prospective and current residents
- Complete full cycle lease process with prospective residents
- Ensure compliance with renter’s insurance
- Maintain resident occupancy of 95%
- Ensure the timely collection of rent and other ancillary revenue
- Engage with your prospective and current tenants using a professional and courteous approach
- Escalate tenant relation issues to Property Manager
- Facilitate resident events
- Comply with all Fair Housing and Equal Housing Opportunities requirements
- Comply with appropriate state landlord/tenant statutes
- Attend training and development seminars
- Other duties as assigned by Property Manager
