About the position
The Learning Specialist at ABS Kids plays a crucial role in ensuring that new hires are aligned with the company's mission and values while feeling confident in their roles. This full-time position focuses on training and supporting staff in delivering high-quality ABA therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder and their families.
Responsibilities
- Present all training materials in a professional manner both virtually and in person
- Troubleshoot any potential training problems with Regional Learning Coordinator/Director of Training
- Coordinate specialized training and credential management
- Assist with coordinating shadow sessions
- Keep training curriculum up to date
- Ensure all trainees complete required courses by assigned due date
- Follow up after training to ensure satisfaction with the program
- Be the point person for troubleshooting any technology, system, or other issues that may arise
- Organize and maintain training information and records
Requirements
- Full understanding of Adult Learning principles
- Minimum High School Diploma, Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Must maintain a current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or higher through the BACB
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Experience in a training position preferred
