About the position

As a Learning Partner at Travelers, you will play a crucial role in identifying, developing, and executing learning solutions that align with the company's business goals. This position involves collaborating with various teams to analyze learning needs, develop curriculum, and evaluate the effectiveness of learning strategies. You will be responsible for maintaining consistent learning processes and fostering strong relationships with business partners to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct learning needs analysis to determine need, scope, and required resources based on business needs.
  • Gather and synthesize information and data to identify recommendations for learning solutions.
  • Partner to develop objective statements, understand personas, intended outcomes, processes and systems, and measurements for supported line of business, program, or function.
  • Maintain consistent learning processes, procedures, and standards to ensure consistency across Travelers.
  • Support and inform curriculum development which may include planning, designing, developing, and outlining solutions to learning objectives.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of learning solutions.
  • Assist with planning and execution of projects and resources to ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Leverage change management methodologies, processes, and tools to create strategies to support adoption of changes.
  • Write business processes and procedures leveraging knowledge of business/product specific methodologies and tools.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Four years of experience in respective business operation or other learning and development environment.
  • Experience with writing and developing learning resources.
  • Awareness of learning technologies, support systems, and methodologies with the ability to assist with implementation of those technologies.
  • General knowledge of the business/personal insurance industry.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with others.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Two years' experience in a learning and development, training, design, or business-related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with learning management systems.
  • Familiarity with instructional design principles.
  • Knowledge of adult learning theories.
