About the position

The Learning and Development (L&D) Business Partner at Post Consumer Brands is responsible for fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization. This role involves managing training programs, collaborating with stakeholders, and utilizing learning technologies to enhance employee skills and knowledge. The L&D Business Partner will work closely with site leaders to ensure that learning objectives are met and that employees are equipped with the necessary tools for their professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the site-level learning and development lead and champion.
  • Partner closely with site leaders to create and sustain a culture that values learning.
  • Facilitate strong relationships and connections between shifts through effective communication.
  • Lead and mentor others in the usage of Problem Solving tools.
  • Participate in and contribute to a Learning and Development community of practice.
  • Identify training needs and contribute to curriculum development and content design.
  • Develop and deliver onboarding training, including New Hire Orientation.
  • Implement a train-the-trainer model for localized training programs.
  • Build an annual training calendar in collaboration with stakeholders and L&D peers.
  • Oversee the preparation and roll out of training programs, managing logistics for smooth delivery.
  • Identify and prioritize learning gaps and put plans in place to address them.
  • Serve as Standard Work Pillar Steering Team Lead, directing a cross-functional team for Continuous Improvement.
  • Administer the site-level learning management system (LMS) and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
  • Analyze training data to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or Business-related discipline or equivalent experience required.
  • 4+ years' experience in a full-time training, education, or learning and development role.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Excellent facilitator/trainer using adult learning principles.
  • Proficient in Learning Management Systems; experience with remote and e-Learning preferred.
  • Content development experience preferred.
  • Experience with measuring and reporting on training effectiveness and business impact.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior project management skills and ability to lead a team through projects.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Content development experience preferred.
  • Experience with remote and e-Learning preferred.
