Learning Center Floater
About The Position
Prime, Inc. is seeking full-time associates for their on-site Learning Center at their SLC Location. This center supports the families at Prime to ensure access to work/life balance. The role involves training teachers on a play-based philosophy where children learn best through exploration. The position focuses on fostering happy, socially engaged, independent thinking children through a teacher and parent supported community. Daily tasks include leading and encouraging a classroom of children, being on your feet caring for children, writing lesson plans, and leading through a creative curriculum.
Requirements
- Must have high school diploma
Responsibilities
- Attend to children’s basic needs by feeding them, dressing them, and changing their diapers when applicable.
- Teach basic skills such as color, shape, number and letter recognition, personal hygiene, and social skills.
- Establish and reinforce rules for behavior, and procedures for maintaining order.
- Serves meals and refreshments to children.
- Keeps the children’s safety a priority both in the classroom and on the playground.
