About the position

The Learning Business Partner, Launch Excellence at Johnson & Johnson will serve as the primary liaison for identifying learning needs and aligning them with senior business leadership to support complex product launches within the Innovative Medicine sector. This role focuses on establishing relationships, diagnosing performance gaps, and creating unified learning programs to enhance launch capabilities and ensure successful execution of strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain key relationships with senior business stakeholders.
  • Consult and diagnose business needs to identify learning solution opportunities.
  • Lead the creation of learning programs that support launch capabilities in alignment with the Pan-Innovative Medicine strategy.
  • Review content and learning solutions to ensure alignment with business needs and desired outcomes.
  • Ensure standardization and best practices within therapeutic area launch strategies.
  • Support launch planning activities and address learning gaps and risks.
  • Provide learning insights to support Launch Readiness Teams using guidance documents and tools.
  • Advise team members on Launch Excellence Framework resources and provide feedback to brand teams.
  • Stay current on Innovative Medicine L&D strategies and inform business on optimal solutions.
  • Institutionalize launch learnings and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Identify best practices for a knowledge management repository and close knowledge gaps in launches.
  • Engage in demand/capacity planning to inform annual demand plan and budget needs.
  • Foster a culture of learning and smart risk-taking in collaboration with leadership.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree (Master's, MBA) in Learning, Organizational Development, Adult Learning or Education is preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of healthcare industry experience is required.
  • Strong understanding of learning and development is required.
  • Strong learning agility is required.
  • Expertise in facilitation/training delivery is required.
  • Business experience to influence company/franchise level decisions is required.
  • Previous experience as a District Sales Manager or in a Patient Engagement and Customer Solutions role is highly preferred.
  • Diverse experience in prior commercial roles (sales, sales leadership, account management, marketing, analytics, etc.) is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Strong leadership, influence management, strategic thinking, and organizational skills are required.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional work teams is required.
  • Ability to create consultative business partnerships and collaborate with business leaders is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a corporate learning environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with digital learning tools and technologies is a plus.
