About the position
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Workday Product Analyst in Core HCM to join the Human Resources Product and Portfolio Management Team. This role involves planning and executing business configuration of Workday software products, collaborating with various stakeholders to understand and document business processes and requirements, and executing configuration changes and acceptance testing.
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate workshops and discussions to gather requirements and understand client objectives.
- Drive requirements by incorporating product expertise and industry knowledge.
- Partner with client areas to analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated systems (Workday).
- Manage multiple stakeholder groups including global business teams and compliance.
- Perform system configuration and testing activities.
- Assist in building out epics into effective user stories.
- Maintain task status in JIRA or similar Agile management tool.
- Work with user groups to resolve questions and recommend changes.
- Ensure cross-functional dependencies are managed to execute projects on time and with quality.
- Contribute to delivering long-term, large-scale solutions considering global market dynamics.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience implementing and supporting Workday Core HR.
- Experience with Workday functions including Talent Acquisition, Compensation, or Talent Management.
- Experience leading workshops to meet client objectives.
- Experience with HR systems in a complex, regulated environment.
- Ability to operate as part of cross-functional work streams.
- Experience interpreting business and technical needs into user stories.
- Experience working as part of Agile teams.
- Project Management experience.
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
