About The Position

Precision Security Team is hiring Lead Unarmed Security Guards to maintain a safe, orderly, and professional environment at assigned sites through visible leadership, proactive security operations, and appropriate response to incidents. In addition to performing all standard security officer duties, Lead Officers provide on-site operational oversight, coordinate guard activities, serve as the primary client contact, and support the overall success of the security team during assigned shifts. This position requires strong situational awareness, sound judgment, leadership ability, excellent communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively in dynamic public-facing environments. Lead Officers may work independently and are expected to represent the organization with professionalism, integrity, accountability, and leadership at all times.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older required, 21+ years old preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous security experience required, lead or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong customer service, communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Military or law enforcement, or event security background encouraged
  • Ability to pass a background check, MVR, and drug screening as applicable
  • CPR certified (or willing to complete provided training)
  • Reliable personal transportation
  • Able to stand or walk for up to 8-12 hours at a time
  • Able to complete company defensive tactics orientation and required training programs
  • Ability to work in fast-paced or high-stress environments while maintaining professionalism
  • Dependable, professional, and confident in public-facing environments
  • Able to lead and support a security team while maintaining accountability and operational standards
  • Calm and level-headed when handling unexpected situations, conflict, or incidents
  • Comfortable making decisions and taking initiative in dynamic or fast-paced environments
  • Strong communicator who can interact professionally with clients, staff, guests, and team members
  • Adaptable to changing schedules, site conditions, and operational needs
  • Tech-capable and able to use radios, smartphones, and basic reporting systems
  • Committed to maintaining a clean, professional appearance in accordance with company and client standards
  • Focused on safety, teamwork, professionalism, and customer service at all times

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a professional security presence while monitoring assigned areas, access points, and site activity
  • Conduct foot or vehicle patrols and respond to incidents, disturbances, emergencies, or safety concerns
  • Enforce site rules, company policies, and SOPs while using sound judgment and de-escalation techniques
  • Observe, document, and report incidents, suspicious activity, and operational concerns accurately and professionally
  • Communicate effectively with clients, staff, visitors, emergency responders, and the public
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients and provide operational leadership to the security team
  • Assign positions, manage guard rotations, monitor officer welfare, and ensure all duties are completed properly
  • Maintain accountability of company-issued equipment and ensure proper distribution and return of gear
  • Respond to radio calls, provide operational support, and step into positions as needed during staffing or site issues
  • Enforce company standards for professionalism, appearance, attendance, and conduct
  • Submit required reports, attendance information, and site documentation to management
  • Help ensure the safety of security personnel, clients, guests, and the public at all times
