About The Position
The Lead Radiology Technologist monitors and assists with direction of technical operation of a high volume and fast paced Radiology section of Diagnostic Imaging. This role assumes direct control of specific areas within Radiology as assigned, oversees workflow coordination, and monitors the daily radiology department schedule to assure proper tech and patient scheduling for smooth exam workflow. The Lead Radiology Technologist schedules in-patient exams in a timely fashion to meet patient needs, assists with staff training, addresses equipment and safety concerns, and coordinates and collaborates with multiple departments within the facility. The position also performs radiographic procedures as needed to the high standards of the facility.
Requirements
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- Oregon Radiographer License (Upon hire)
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Upon hire)
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Upon hire)
