About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by insuring the Supervisor’s instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly. This position will also monitor all equipment to insure it is working properly and notify the supervisor of any needed maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Proficiency in reading and writing; ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels.

Requirements

  • Team Members must be in current position for 90 days
  • Team Members must have no suspensions or more than 3 written warnings within the past year
  • Team Members with four (4) or more attendance points at the time of application will be disqualified from consideration
  • A Team Member who withdraws their application or declines a position one (1) time will be restricted applying to any additional positions for six (6) months
  • Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Willing and able to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Stand, walk, bend, squat, stretch, climb, push, pull and reach as required in all areas
  • Stand 8-10 hours on hard floors
  • Perform repetitive motions as required in many areas
  • Work in a cold, damp environment
  • Work on slippery walking surfaces
