About the position

The Lead Patient Account Registrar at Resurrection Medical Center is responsible for overseeing patient registration processes, ensuring efficient patient flow, and maximizing collections at the point of service. This role emphasizes outstanding customer service and compliance with departmental policies, while also providing leadership and support to staff in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth patient flow and quality registration processes.
  • Maximize Point of Service patient collections.
  • Provide outstanding customer service in the area of responsibility.
  • Coordinate break and lunch times to meet coverage needs.
  • Assist Supervisor in managing staff based on patient volume fluctuations.
  • Serve as a resource for other employees on policies and procedures.
  • Lead compliance and completion of daily duties within the department.
  • Set an example in exemplary customer service and conduct.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Extensive knowledge of Patient Access required.
  • Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management abilities.
  • Extremely high degree of attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple demands and function well under pressure.
