McLane Company is seeking a Lead Oracle Programmer/Analyst to join our team in a remote capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, estimating, developing, documenting, and implementing well-tested solutions that satisfy the requirements of each application development request within the allocated time and budget. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Oracle EBS, particularly in Financials, and will be proficient in Java Enterprise Development. You will be expected to create documentation, provide detailed status updates, log accurate information into the time-tracking system, and continuously learn new tools and environments to enhance job performance. It is crucial to ensure that the McLane methodology is followed, and that requirements and development deliverables match the design specifications. You will also be responsible for managing the system-testing process and user acceptance testing (UAT) process, as well as supporting implementation and post-implementation activities. This position offers a competitive salary range of $125,000 to $135,000, based on qualifications and experience, and is eligible for an annual incentive plan with a target incentive of 17.5% of your base annual salary. Responsibilities
- Design, estimate, develop, document, and implement well-tested solutions that satisfy application development requests.
- Create documentation where appropriate and provide detailed status updates when needed.
- Log accurate information into the time-tracking system.
- Continuously learn new tools and environments to maintain and enhance job performance.
- Ensure that the McLane methodology is followed throughout the development process.
- Ensure that requirements and development deliverables match design specifications.
- Ensure that test plans match the requirements and that test results match the test plans.
- Provide high-level and detailed estimates for project timelines.
- Create an appropriate test environment for the project team to validate delivered solutions.
- Develop and test solutions using McLane Development tools that meet McLane standards.
- Provide appropriate implementation documentation for installs.
- Manage and execute the system-testing process and UAT process.
- Support implementation and post-implementation activities.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience with Oracle EBS.
- 3+ years of experience with Oracle EBS V12.1.2 / V12.1.3, with extensive technical experience in Financials (AR, AP, GL, FAH, FA, etc.).
- Good functional knowledge in Financials and Pricing.
- 8+ years of experience in Java Enterprise Development, including Servlets, JDBC, WebServices, Java Server Pages, Java Server Faces, Struts, JMS using WebSphere MQ, XML processing using XSLT, SAX or DOM, Unix Scripting, J2ME, C/C++, Objective C.
- 6+ years of experience in tooling, web development, and database management, including Oracle JDeveloper, PL/SQL Developer, BI Publisher, Oracle Reports Builder, WEB 2.0, HTML, JavaScript, stored procedures, and complex SQL.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Strong communication skills and good time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members.
