PT Lead Officers - Downtown Buffalo, NY area - $19/hour
About The Position
The Lead Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by providing lead direction to Security Officers at assigned client sites on assigned shifts. Observes and reports activities and incidents, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. The Lead Officer maintains the security and safety of the client site by supporting and providing their Security Officers clear guidance and leadership. Requirements
- Must have security experience.
- Must have a current/valid/unexpired NYS Guard Card.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must have some flexibility with schedule as needed.
- Must be comfortable with being Point of Contact for other Security Officers on shift.
- Must be comfortable with making phone calls to fill open shifts when/if necessary to ensure proper site coverage.
Responsibilities
- Ensure foot patrols are being completed as required.
- Ensure all daily activity reports, incident reports, etc. are completed properly.
- Make notification to proper personnel when necessary.
- Provide lead direction to Security Officers at assigned client sites on assigned shifts.
- Observe and report activities and incidents, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
- Preserve order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
- Support and provide Security Officers clear guidance and leadership.
