About the position

The Meat Department Lead is responsible for providing exceptional meat preparation services, managing the service counter, and ensuring outstanding guest service. This role involves significant hands-on work with meat operating tools and equipment, overseeing department staff in the absence of management, and maintaining cleanliness in the department. The position also includes collaboration with the Pit Master in stores featuring a Smokehouse, enhancing product offerings for guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide meat preparation services for guests.
• Set and fill the service counter and self-service cases.
• Assist guests with orders and requests.
• Answer guest questions regarding meat products.
• Prepare and display items in the service counter.
• Maintain overall cleanliness of the meat department.
• Oversee department staff in the absence of management.
• Collaborate with the Pit Master to feature product offerings in stores with a Smokehouse.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
