About The Position

The Lead technologist is responsible for the daily clinical operations of their assigned centers. This position is critical to Solis Mammography; by providing outstanding care and efficient results, the Lead technologist impacts the profitability of the organization as well as the patient experience. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Prior experience with RIS/PACS preferred
Completion of formal radiologic technologic technology training program
Understands and communicates medical terminology
Current, non- restricted licensure instate of work location is required
Current ARRT advanced level certification in Mammography

Responsibilities

Understands, promotes and demonstrates the “Solis Way”
Performs mammography and/or assists with biopsies on as needed basis
Monitors clinical staffing levels.
Provides excellent patient care, communicates procedures and provides education on an as needed basis to new and existing clinical team members
Effectively handles patient complaints as, evidenced by patient survey scores and escalates as necessary
Assists center director in MQSA compliance as it relates to tracking, following up and credentials
Ensures compliance with all Policies and Procedures
Ensures supplies are available as needed to meet patient demands
