About the position

This dynamic position, residing in the Finance FP&A organization, requires an innovative individual capable of affecting change within the organization. This person will work across the organization to achieve greater efficiency and automation, using UKG business applications and/or reporting and analysis tools. They will work closely with Finance members and cross-functional groups to analyze existing or proposed system solutions and processes. This person should be comfortable working with all levels of the organization in recommending new solutions and processes.

Responsibilities

• Build, and maintain, relationships with key finance stakeholders and promote effective information sharing across teams
• Assist in identifying impacts to Finance teams of upstream system changes being planned and communicating those changes to impacted teams
• Participate in specific business activities relating to strategic enterprise initiatives surrounding the ERP/CPQ/EDW/forecasting and analysis spaces
• Determine root cause issues, determine scope of their impact and prioritize issues to team for resolution
• Assist in compiling impactful deliverables including (but not limited to) training collateral, systems visualizations, summary presentations
• Collaborate effectively with technical resources including Digital product owners, developers, quality analysts, business analysts and/or reporting analysts
• Participate in knowledge sharing sessions across Finance functional teams
• Assist in the coordination, prioritization and monitoring of improvements with all contributing resources across the organization
• Act as a liaison between Finance and technical teams to ensure a full understanding of requirements on both ends
• Provide subject matter expertise in the following areas of specialization
• Bring a strong background in the reporting and modeling of financial data and metrics
• Work with Finance business partners to develop well organized KPI's, primarily through an Enterprise Data Warehouse and reporting platform
• Work with functional and technical teams to identify data anomalies and resolve data quality issues to ensure report accuracies
• Through analysis of operational data, identify data quality issues and participate in their prioritization, scoping, and resolution

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with an accounting or finance concentration
• Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills; ability to weigh various suggested solutions against the original business needs and choose the most effective solution
• Broad technical aptitude; ability to learn new systems and information quickly
• Minimum 5 years business experience in the use of business applications
• High degree of initiative and capacity to lead multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment that is constantly evolving
• Strong analytical skills required, including a demonstrated understanding of how to interpret customers' business needs and translate them into technical requirements
• Innovative - ability to challenge the status quo, to achieve greater efficiencies in the Finance organization
• Experience working with ERP and/or business intelligence/reporting applications (preferably Salesforce, Salesforce CPQ, Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, Power BI, Alteryx, and/or forecasting tools)
• Experience working on cross functional teams and also display the initiative to work independently
• Excellent communication (verbal and written), collaboration, planning and organization skills
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite, Visio, and reporting/query tools
