This will enable us to build a more agile and responsive HR function that better meets the needs of our dynamic workforce. We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated HR generalist to join our HR shared services team. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in the development and implementation of our new HR service delivery model. This team will respond to queries and be critical architects of the new service delivery model to centralize and streamline HR functions to enhance efficiency, improve service delivery, and provide a seamless experience for employees across the organization. This team will support the HR Business Partner organization across the enterprise and provide expert HR services in the new model. Responsibilities

  • Work effectively in the shared services model and respond to queries to employees and leaders on all aspects of the employee experience: on-boarding, promotions, change management, employee pulse surveys, performance management, career development, employee relations and off-boarding.
  • Conduct employee interviews to discuss personnel, human relations, and work-related problems that adversely affect team & employee morale, engagement, health, and productivity.
  • Evaluate a variety of people relation issues varying in complexity and meet with stakeholders to present recommendations for resolution.
  • Suggest and implement new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency and effectiveness of the shared service model to improve employee experience.
  • Respond to and resolve queries assigned in an efficient manner adhering to defined SLAs and governance mechanisms.
  • Build effective partnerships with HR Business Partners and other COE stakeholders to effectively resolve queries.
  • Serve as a confidant for employees and triage inquiries in partnership with centers of excellence regarding benefits, payroll, leaves of absence, job architecture, investigations and career development.
  • Coach leaders from first line managers to Sr. Directors on broadening their own capability while building and leading high performing teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field; HR certification or advanced degree preferred.
  • 6+ years of HR generalist or specialist experience with 2+ years ideally in a high growth environment; Past experience working in a shared service model is a plus.
  • Proven leadership ability.
  • Employee Relations/Investigations experience gained in either a People Partner role, Employee Relations Advisory role, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience dealing with employment law principles and conducting and advising on investigations.
  • Experience advising on a wide range of employee relations issues, including coaching, counseling and performance issues.
  • Exceptional project management skills and the ability to translate complex issues into straightforward communications.
  • Proficient knowledge of Human Resources, policy interpretations and legal requirements.
  • Ability to compile information and analyze data to drive decision making.
  • Possess a high level of problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in disclosing or withholding confidential information.
  • Ability to establish strong cross-functional relationships at all levels and geographies.
