As a Lead Personal Care Aide, you'll combine hands-on client care with leadership responsibilities, helping to ensure both clients and caregivers receive the support they need to thrive. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Personal Care Aide (PCA), OR graduation from a formal aide training program, OR current CNA certification
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills and ability to maintain electronic documentation
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of insurance
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of caregiving, including lifting, transferring, and assisting clients, and successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Nice To Haves

  • Previous leadership, mentoring, or supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct client visits, assess care needs, and help develop individualized care plans to support quality outcomes
  • Provide direct in-home care, including personal care assistance, mobility support, medication reminders, and activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Mentor, train, and supervise caregivers in the field, ensuring excellent client care and compliance with care plans
  • Monitor, document, and communicate changes in client condition while maintaining accurate electronic records
  • Collaborate with clients, families, caregivers, and office staff to coordinate care, support Home Health and Hospice initiatives, and participate in a rotating weekend on-call schedule
