About the position

The Lead Analyst, Transparency plays a crucial role in ensuring Stryker upholds ethical standards and complies with Transparency regulations. This position involves strategic planning, management, and execution of key responsibilities to support the organization's Transparency compliance framework. Key duties include overseeing the dispute resolution process, investigating data discrepancies, and leading initiatives related to U.S. State Report submissions. Additionally, the role ensures the accuracy of CMS submissions through thorough data validation, error correction, and resolution of discrepancies critical for federal reporting. A significant portion of the role involves supporting the collection, remediation, consolidation, and reporting of data across multiple global commercial business units. The position works closely with regional teams to ensure that Transparency policies are applied consistently across all operations, driving compliance both locally and internationally. This includes collaboration with stakeholders in finance, legal, operations, and IT to ensure data is accurately gathered, processed, and reported in line with regulatory and organizational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee CMS Open Payments and state-specific reporting, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely submissions.
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, disputes, and inquiries promptly to maintain reporting integrity.
  • Utilize tools like MedPro, Concur, and OnBase to extract, analyze, and remediate data, ensuring alignment with transparency requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency gains, streamlining workflows, and recommending best practices for data management and compliance.
  • Develop and deliver training materials to equip teams with the knowledge to adhere to transparency regulations and best practices.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce compliance risks, align activities with the U.S. risk mitigation plan, and provide actionable insights through analytics.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance, training, and support to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years of accounts payable, supplier master, transparency, or related experience

Nice-to-haves

  • 3+ years of CMS reporting experience preferred.
  • System knowledge of ERPs (Oracle and SAP), aggregate spend tool (MedPro), and HCP/HCO interactions tool (CAPS/GRT)
  • Accounting experience

Benefits

  • $77,200 - $160,800 salary plus bonus eligible
  • Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location
  • Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors
