About The Position

This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial laundry equipment along with the building's mechanical and electrical systems. Additionally, the position requires tracking materials and time for job completion while fostering a collaborative work environment within the laundry plant. Other tasks may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

Have the mechanical and electrical aptitude required to complete common maintenance and repair tasks.
Be proficient in the operation and use of common mechanical and electrical tools.
Have a general knowledge of OSHA requirements and the use of personal protective equipment.
Be able to read, understand and comply with all company policies and procedures.
Be capable of and willing to advance his or her laundry equipment knowledge and expertise through on-the-job training and self-study.
Be agreeable and willing to accept occasional shift-work assignments.
Must have mastered the skills and knowledge required of a Laundry Maintenance Technician II and have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience maintaining industrial laundry or industrial process / manufacturing equipment of a similar scale and complexity.
Be knowledgeable of and have experience conforming to OSHA safety requirements.
Be capable and willing to mentor and train less experienced Maintenance Technicians.
