Kean Miller LLP is seeking a Lateral/Experienced Associate to join their Casualty and Mass Tort Litigation Group in Houston. The role involves working closely with partners on various phases of litigation, including investigations, case reporting, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation and a commitment to client interaction and business development.
Responsibilities
- Work with partners on all phases of litigation including rapid response investigations, case reporting, discovery, and depositions.
- Take depositions and write motions.
- Respond to discovery requests.
- Prepare for trials and assist in trial preparation.
- Develop client and referral relationships.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of litigation experience.
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Strong research, writing, communication, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to interact directly with clients.
